About this role
The Full Stack WordPress Engineer assists in ongoing integration and updates between Iterable CRM and WordPress, both headless and monolithic. Work across the full stack to build highly scalable distributed solutions enabling positive user experiences and measurable business growth. Formulate effective responsive designs into working Gutenberg blocks and front-end components.
Assist with implementing new features and updates to the email marketing automation platform, including SDK across sites. Implement systems integrations across marketing solutions and data capture forms. Create page templates, components, and Gutenberg Blocks for front and backend.
Work with Figma including Dev Mode to translate designs meeting user needs and stakeholder acceptance criteria. Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including daily scrum, design, implementation, and deployment. Adhere to agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
Ensure site and CMS performance, uptime, scale, and high standards for code quality and application design. Analyze website performance during build, troubleshoot errors, and handle backend including database and server integration. Maintain well-documented and reusable code while contributing to best practices in security, patching, and coding standards.
Requirements
- Experience with Headless and monolithic WordPress (essential)
- Experience with React (essential)
- Experience with CRMs (essential; Iterable desirable)
- Experience creating, amending, and updating Gutenberg Blocks (front and backend)
- Experience with implementation and maintaining tracking via the data layer
- Experience developing and converting designs into WordPress themes
- Knowledge of WordPress plugins
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages including PHP, HTML5, JavaScript
